The world was not prepared for a pandemic in 2020 and is still under adaptation for new possible health problems in the future. A scenario for a new Pandemic is foreseen to happen caused by a super-bacteria caused mainly by an overuse of antibiotics.

During the Covid19 pandemic, that was caused by a viral pathogen, several reports have shown a majority of patients with covid have received antibiotics when not clinically indicated (Langford et al., 2020) and have been used as a first treatment (Rawson et al., 2020). Reports of Drug-Resistant Bacteria Outbreaks are more common and during the pandemic and are linked to COVID-19 Patients (Bridget & Kuehn, 2021), leading to more severe and complex treatments, increasing in this way the risks of complications during the recovery of patients.

According to data of the OECD about 35 per cent of common human infections are already resistant to currently available medicines, and in some low- and middle-income countries, resistance rates are as high as 80 to 90 per cent for some antibiotic-bacterium combinations (OECD, 2018).

The overuse of antibiotics and its future effects are still under research, although it is a global concern, regional and country specific differences makes a difficult task to achieve.
